DGR Architecture is a client focused full-service Architecture firm, offering thoughtful solutions to achieve aesthetic and functional goals for your specific property. We aim to provide a seamless experience from conceptual design, to building a team of Engineers and Consultants, through obtaining approved permits and bids for construction. During construction we advocate for the design intent while being mindful of the project budget and schedule.

DGR Architecture provides the following Architectural services as applicable to a project:

A. PRE-DESIGN

• define project specific programmatic and aesthetic goals

review project specific historical documentation as available coordinate with an as-built company to field measure and draft AutoCAD drawings

• coordinate for a site survey of the existing lot

• prepare as-built AutoCAD drawings and other supporting project files per Architectural standards

• feasibility report of applicable zoning, planning and/or building code requirements and constraints


B. SCHEMATIC DESIGN

• propose diagrammatic floor plan options in response to programmatic and aesthetic goals

• coordinate with a Structural Engineer and/or Contractor to inform feasibility in relation to budget

• revise schematic design drawings per Owner feedback

• finalize Scope of Work

C. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

• develop drawings of Scope of Work: plans, exterior elevations, sections, interior elevations, etc.

• build a team of consultants as applicable (Structural, Energy, Geotechnical, etc.)

• meet with Owner to review progress as needed and revise drawings per Owner feedback

• submit Planning/Zoning review package to City (plans, photos, supplemental documentation, etc.)

• attend City meetings and coordinate revisions in response to City comments, as needed


D. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS

• develop Building Permit drawing set as required for City approval and construction

• coordinate with team of consultants for required drawings, documents, and reports

• meet with Owner to review progress as needed

• submit Building Permit package to City (plans, supplemental documentation, etc.)

• coordinate revisions in response to City Plan Check comments

• develop supporting documents for selection of finishes and fixtures

E. BIDDING

• assist in obtaining Contractors’ bids and provide input on bids obtained

• request quotes from vendors on Owner’s behalf as needed


F. CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION

• provide finish material and fixture schedules to assist in selections

• finalize finish material and fixture selections with Owner

• request finish material and fixture quotes from vendors, applying trade discounts as applicable

• provide additional information or drawings as requested by Contractor

• attend site meetings as needed to observe progress and help resolve field issues as they occur
